Compare the entire lease cost against the purchase price after any credits you personally qualify to receive.

Dealers may present incentives as if they are interchangeable with a discount. They are not. A manufacturer rebate, tax-credit pass-through, dealer discount, and trade-in allowance should each appear separately. Clear numbers make it easier to see whether the offer is genuinely competitive.

Lease if you want the newest EV technology every few years, drive within predictable mileage limits, and place a premium on avoiding resale risk. Buy if you expect to keep the vehicle long enough to outlast the loan, drive more than a lease allows, or want full control over your vehicle and its future value.
